Tullamore Central School is located in the in the Parkes Shire, 125km south-west of Dubbo and 100km west of Parkes, catering for students from Kindergarten through to Year 12. The current student enrolment is 60 students including 39 primary and 21 secondary students, with 16% of students identifying as Aboriginal. The school is supported by an active Parents & Citizens and Aboriginal Education Consultative Group.  

The school has recently completed a comprehensive situational analysis which has identified evidence-based teaching practices, the use of data to inform teaching, capacity building, student engagement and aspiration as high level drivers of continual improvement through the strategic improvement plan.

The school forms part of the Western Access Program along with Trundle CS, Tottenham CS, Peak Hill CS and Yeoval CS. This partnership allows the schools to offer and deliver a broad curriculum to Stage 6 students through the use of technology and supports students to complete the HSC in their home towns.

The school offers a wide range of extracurricular opportunities to enhance and extend on the robust and academic curriculum delivery and is proud to provide opportunities for students beyond their community in educational, vocational or sporting areas.

Staff are a mix of experienced and early career teachers, committed to delivering innovative educational experiences, and to constantly improving their skills in line with the latest professional learning.
