Macksville High School (approximate enrolment of 500 students including 65 Aboriginal students from Years 7-12), is a coeducational comprehensive school with a tradition for high academic, sporting, and cultural achievements. It enjoys strong support from the community and parents. The school is situated in the picturesque Nambucca Valley in the township of Macksville, is an active member of the Valley 10 Community of Schools and is a part of the Nambucca Valley Trade Training Centre. The school has excellent modern facilities and the teaching staff are dedicated to offering students every opportunity to reach their potential. The school provides a broad curriculum of academic and vocational courses, as well as extra-curricular activities, and a literacy and numeracy program.
