Arcadia Vale Public School is a small school on the western shores of Lake Macquarie serving the Arcadia Vale community. Currently, we have 125 students, with an approximate equal number of boys and girls. Approximately 11% of our students identify as being ATSI.

Our school has six permanent teacher positions including two executive positions and four classroom teachers. We also have a Multi-Categorical class which was established this year. We have various part time specialist support teachers and support staff. Our Family Occupation and Education Index is 126.

We are proud members of the Toronto Learning Community comprising of seven public primary schools and our local high school. We enjoy strong community partnership and are striving to work closely with our parents and carers in our core business of teaching and learning.

Our school implements the evidence based pedagogy, Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI) to support the development of Literacy and Numeracy knowledge, skills and understanding for all students, effectively differentiating at all levels. We work collaboratively as a whole school community who aspires for high levels of excellence, achievement and wellbeing in an inclusive environment.
