About the role:
Brisbane Catholic Education is looking for an experienced Service Desk Officer to join our Information Technology Services team. We are looking for someone who can provide efficient and friendly technical support to end-users, assist with troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution of IT-related concerns. Are you a person that loves helping people with technical issues and thrives on providing great customer service where you'll have the opportunity to work alongside talented individuals who share your passion for technology and customer service excellence.


Your key responsibilities include:
  • Deliver high quality service desk services in a client focused manner.
  • Identify trends and suggest improvements.
  • End-user technology support such as Windows, macOS, iOS and AV equipment.
  • Creation of process documentation, technical documentation, and forms as required.

To be successful in this role you will have: 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Loves helping people with technical issues and thrives on providing great customer service.
  • IT or related degree qualifications and /or industry qualifications relating to a complex ICT environment preferred.
  • Experience working in a similar Service Desk role within a large organisation.
  • Experience using an ITSM tool to log incidents and requests - ServiceNow experience highly regarded.
  • Experience performing basic user and group administration tasks in an AD, Office 365, Exchange.
  • Experience in the installation, maintenance and support of personal computer operating systems.
