Oberon Public School is located in the village of Oberon located in the Central West of NSW, approximately 40 Kilometres from Bathurst. The school has approximately 220 students across 9 classes including a small cohort of students with an Aboriginal heritage and students from language backgrounds other than English. All students are taught to respect and celebrate cultural diversity.
Oberon Public School caters for the individual needs of students and provides a supportive learning environment offering a broad range of academic, sporting and cultural opportunities.
The school places a high priority on supporting staff to develop into quality teaching practitioners through ongoing professional learning, collegial collaborations and Instructional Leadership Rounds. In addition, the school is an Early Action for Success (EAFS) School that is committed to further enhancing student literacy and numeracy skills. Oberon Public School is a PBL School with a strong focus on student well-being.
