Franklin Public School is located on the southern side of Tumut. The town of Tumut is located on the southwest slopes of New South Wales approximately 1 hour form Wagga. Franklin Public School has an enrolment of 284 students, including 31 Aboriginal students. The school consist of 12 classes that cater for the delivery of high quality learning outcomes for all students.
The school has a long established tradition of being a family school and has strong partnerships between parents, staff and community and priorities the core areas of literacy and numeracy. A strong relationship exists with the local AECG and the wider community. Dedicated and experienced staff utlise well resourced classrooms and learning spaces to provide with the latest in technology enhanced learning to engage thinking and creativity.
