The Career Start Program offers an opportunity to secure an early offer of permanent appointment in schools identified as high priority within Darling Downs South West, Central Queensland, North Queensland and Far North Queensland Regions.
Bursaries of up to $20,000 are available to high-achieving preservice teachers who demonstrate professional knowledge, professional practice and professional engagement, and are eligible for employment as a teacher in the semester following graduation.
