SPECIFIC CRITERIA

  • Commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and appropriate Religious Education qualifications.
  • Academic qualifications in inclusive education and experience in working with students with disabilities.
  • Capacity to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Understanding of best practice in relation to meeting the needs of students with social emotional/ sensory needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of subjects and curriculum content within their sphere of responsibility.
  • Ability to plan, implement and evaluate learning plans that support individual students.
  • Sound understanding of NCCD guidelines and processes.
  • Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning team.
  • Parish Priest Reference desirable.

Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
