SPECIFIC CRITERIA
- Commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and appropriate Religious Education qualifications.
- Academic qualifications in inclusive education and experience in working with students with disabilities.
- Capacity to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all learners.
- Understanding of best practice in relation to meeting the needs of students with social emotional/ sensory needs.
- In-depth knowledge of subjects and curriculum content within their sphere of responsibility.
- Ability to plan, implement and evaluate learning plans that support individual students.
- Sound understanding of NCCD guidelines and processes.
- Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning team.
- Parish Priest Reference desirable.
Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
