Job Title: Year 5 Teacher (Early Career)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Career Teacher to join the team at a single form entry school in Morecambe. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher or someone in the early stages of their teaching career to grow and develop within a supportive and dynamic school environment.
This is a full time teaching role, Monday to Friday. Fixed for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in accordance with the Year 5 curriculum.Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners and promote active participation.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages collaboration, respect, and resilience.Assess student progress through formative and summative methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities.Establish effective communication channels with parents and caregivers to provide regular updates on pupil progress and maintain positive home-school partnerships.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.Early Career Teacher status or completion of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) within the last two years.Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum and proficiency in delivering effective teaching and learning experiences.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.Commitment to ongoing professional development and a reflective approach to practice.
