Our innovative Technologies department is looking for a Digital Technologies Teacher to join the team and to continue our work in engaging students in their learning.
The role will suit either a teacher who is experienced in teaching Digital Technologies, or someone keen to upskill in this dynamic area of the Australian Curriculum. Graduates are encouraged to apply.


Technologies at MMCP include many and varied pathways for our students and opportunities for professional growth for our teachers:
  • Digital Technologies pathway to Information & Communication Technology (Applied) and Certificate III in Aviation (Drone Pilot) Design Technologies;
  • Materials pathway to Certificate II in Engineering and Industrial Technology Skills (Applied) Design Technologies pathway to Senior Design (General) Design Technologies;
  • Food & Fibre pathway to Certificate III in Hospitality

About the role -

To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in Digital Technologies as well as:
  • Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
  • Commitment to child safety
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organisational skills
  • Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
  • Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.

At BCE our teachers are required to:
  • Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
  • Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Do I have to be Catholic?
If this role does not require you to teach Religious Education, you do not need to be Catholic.
We support all teachers with Accreditation to Teach pathways after you start with us.
