About the Conference

ActiveNature will be held at Kirrawee High School from Thursday 3rd October – Saturday 5th October 2019.

The conference will include a meet and greet social event on the Wednesday night prior to the conference, a terrific conference social night with food, drinks and entertainment on Friday 4 October and some fantastic field trips on Saturday. There will also be a range of presentations, interactive sessions, workshops and creative projects to help us dive into the conference theme.

Keynote Speakers

We're excited to announce that our day 1 keynote speakers include three young people talking about their learning and actions to protect the environment. One of them, Nosrat, is a student from a high school in Western Sydney and was one of the organisers of the recent climate strikes. Delegates will also be inspired by Dr. Marty Branagan as he speaks about peace and sustainability, Dr. Sue Elliott speaking about the role of early childhood education in helping to foster active citizens and more. Our full speaker list will be announced shortly.
