16 Hands - Connecting Kids with Horses

Supported by Racing Victoria, this free and unique incursion is offered to primary school children in metropolitan Melbourne. This program gives children the opportunity to learn about thoroughbred horses through an interactive and engaging visit. The program provides a fun-filled educational hour where children learn about horse health, anatomy and interesting horse facts with content aligned to the Victorian Curriculum, with every child having the opportunity to pat a thoroughbred horse.
