Moss Vale Public School is a semi–rural school located in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Moss Vale Public School has a current enrolment of 519 students including 26 ATSI students. The school has 18 mainstream classes, six support classes and an early intervention unit. A dedicated and caring staff of early career and experienced teachers and support staff provide a broad and balanced curriculum including Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL), opportunities in creative arts, debating and sport.


Helping Children To Learn Well – Moss Vale Public School's motto demonstrates that the school  community is dedicated in ensuring students learn well and see themselves as successful learners. The school is committed to providing students with a child–centred quality education through programs which meet the individual needs of each student.  Students are provided with opportunities to actively engage in learning and assume responsibility for their learning success. The Assistant Principal Hearing (itinerant) is based at Moss Vale Public School and is responsible for an administrative/teaching caseload within schools. Ability and willingness to travel between work sites.
