Bossley Park High School is a large comprehensive school of over 1400 students, where 82% of students are from a language background other than English. It includes a physical disabilities unit. The dedicated staff and community hold high expectations for learning and achievement.
Bossley Park High School reinforces positive behaviours for learning through the promotion of our safe, respectful learner code. The school is recognised for its broad curriculum and successful gifted and talented (GAT) programs. These include accelerated mathematics, GAT visual arts and performing arts programs, GAT technology incorporating a robotics program, GAT football and netball programs.
In 2019 the school was recognised as a Leader in Robotics in Secondary Schools as well as being awarded the Digital Lighthouse School for the sustained and broad application of ICT across the school in a manner that inspires the school community and presents a model of excellence that others can follow.
The school maintains strong community support from parents and carers. It is also well known in the community for its strong student leadership, engagement programs and well-being initiatives that ensure our students are known, valued and cared for in our school.
