Position: Textiles Teacher Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Salary: £150-£220 per day (dependent on experience) Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Hours: 08:15-15:30

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging textiles lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages experimentation and innovation.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum and extracurricular activities.

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialism in textiles or a related field.
  • Experience teaching textiles at secondary level is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment.
