Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Religious Education Teacher to join our dedicated team on a temporary part time basis (0.625 FTE). The timetable for this role is spread across our 10-day timetable cycle which includes 1 day off per week. This position is to commence Term 2 2024 and is temporary until the end of 2024.
At Ravenswood, we wish to excite students' interest in pursuing their studies both in the classroom and through Co-curricular experiences. The successful applicant will be an excellent and engaging classroom practitioner, who demonstrates creativity and rigour in the delivery of curriculum and enjoys working in a committed and professional team.
To be successful in securing this position you will have demonstrated teaching ability encompassing:
- Proven experience in Religion Education for students from Years 7 – 10;
- Interest in Social Justice initiatives;
- Strong ICT Skills;
- The ability to differentiate in the delivery of curriculum;
- A flexible and collegial approach; and
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
