Are you passionate about early childhood education?

Do you possess a deep understanding of phonics and its importance in early literacy development?

If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team as an EYFS Teacher to work within the nursery class of a diverse primary school in the LS11 area of Leeds.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Assess and monitor children's progress, providing timely feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a holistic approach to child development.
  • Utilize phonics strategies effectively to support children's literacy acquisition.

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working within an EYFS setting, preferably in a Nursery class.
  • Strong understanding of phonics principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
