About the Role - We are seeking to welcome an IT professional to the role of Information Technology Lead at Clairvaux MacKillop College.

The role is responsible for the development and delivery of IT services for the College in line with Brisbane Catholic Education requirements. The incumbent has a key role in collaborating with the College Leadership team, college and system staff, and external consultants to facilitate the best use of technology to fulfil great learning and teaching. This role is responsible for leading the daily operations of the IT Department, with a focus on administering all systems to ensure maximum operational performance and security, and the infrastructure continues to meet the IT needs of all stakeholders.

  • The skills, attributes, and drive to lead a busy IT department
  • Previous experience in leading a team providing IT support, particularly in a large educational environment
  • Enjoy a varied role that includes providing IT solutions for both primary and secondary students and teaching staff
  • A passion for helping others and finding the right IT solution with the Brisbane Catholic education framework.
  • Suitable tertiary qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications combined with an innovative and tech-savvy nature
  • Previous relevant experience, particularly in an educational environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • A highly organised nature that shows sound judgement, confidentiality, and discretion.
